‘Up Your Nose‘ is my new blog that will be devoted to the art of scent. The main Crushed Velvet & Roses blog will remain here with continued postings of art and who knows what else but anything relating to scent will be at Up Your Nose.

You will find posts and articles relating to the subject of aromatherapy, anointing oils, ritual oils,  herbs, and alternative perfumery.  Mainly aromatherapy which is my first of the scented passions.  Of course I’ll have to slip in once-in-a-while when products from Crushed Velvet & Roses (that’s me!) are released too ;)

After trying a bunch of different pastels and hating them I said fuck it and went and bought the supposedly best pastels there are. I bought the Sennelier 20 1/2 stick package. Can’t wait to try them out!

Though I don’t even *remember* buying them…..I remember driving home, then all of the sudden I’m paying at Dick Blick for the pastels and then next thing I know I was at home. How very mysterious. . .

It’s all that Suzi Blutube I’ve been watching! It’s Suzi’s fault! The Moleskin and now pastels! I think that Suzi and her Love Your Vulva love fest just hypnotized me or something.

Yeeeesssss. That must be it. Suzi Blu hypnotized me through her videos and that’s why I bought pastels and a Moleskin! Next thing you know I’ll be painting vulvas! haaaaaaa!!!
